Paper Circuits: LED Greeting Cards

My 3rd graders made LED Greeting Cards this week. All you need is some card-stock, an LED, copper tape, and a coin cell battery. I collaborated with another teacher to make the card templates with a robot on the front to color and a simple circuit template on the inside for the kids to follow. The students absolutely loved it, and after building, we took the time to talk about how and why a circuit works the way it does.
