Boardgame Playtesting

This week my 5th graders have entered the Playtesting phase of our Board Game Design project. Students took turns as game players and game designers and shared their projects with their peers and sought feedback from each other. As a group we discussed the importance of seeking user feedback early in the Design Thinking process as a way to get to a better final product. Testers filled out a feedback worksheet that designers were able to take home and use to plan for their next round of prototyping.
