LED Greeting Cards Pt. 1 (Paper Circuits)

3rd graders began a new project this week to make light-up LED greeting cards. We examined a model card and then students cut and placed copper tape to make a “paper circuit” on the inside of their own card. With extra time, some students started NYC themed cover art based on our theme of “City” this year. This project was inspired by the amazing work of Jie Qi from the High-Low Tech Group at the MIT Media Lab.
